Soil
Our location's altitude, sunlight, and weather conditions, together with the nutrient-rich soil and rigorous vineyard management, all combine to produce distinctive, vivid, and sophisticated wines.
Climate
When compared to the mainland and the coast, Skiathos island was hotter and drier than the rest of the country. To grow or store sugar, a plant needs a lot of sunlight (in the vine). Faster or slower plants can grow and mature based on how much sun we get and how long we have it for.
Grapes
All of the information you need to learn more about the world's most popular grape varieties can be found in our Ultimate Guide to Grapes. These guides will help you learn more about the flavor profiles and history of the grapes that are used to make red and white wine, rosé and other types of wine.
Solar
When the plant gets enough sunlight, it can use this energy either to grow or to store sugar (in the vine). The more sun we get and the longer we have it, the faster or slower the plants can grow and mature.
Vineyard
Giannis Parisis owns and cultivates 35 acres of grapes in the Skiathos villages of Xanemos, Prophet Elias, and Agios Konstantinos. The varietals produced are entirely Greek, as the objective is to showcase Greek vineyards under the auspices of the ecology.
Winery
We feel that doing things well is important, and that is how we care for our land and make our wine. We have complete control over the entire process, ensuring that we turn excellent grapes into fantastic wine.
