Tsipouro is a grape distillate in its purest form.
Tsipouro is made from aromatic grapes that are healthy, high quality, and fully matured. The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and vinified in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature and environmental control conditions. When the fermentation is complete, the free-run wine is separated from the peels (grape skins), which is then put into stainless steel containers and held at a low temperature until the distillation process is done. These considerations are critical in ensuring that the pomace retains its fragrant flavor and high-quality qualities, which will be incorporated into the spirit that will be made later.
